Upon reading the headline of the following story, it was enough to send chills up my spine. As we as adults prepare to have kids enrich our daily lives, why is that those who shouldn't be parents can't be as responsible? Those couples fortunate enough to have kids of their own, have made a promise to God, that regardless of the sex of the child, we'll do our best to provide and prepare them for some day leading their own life. The promise to God wasn't that we'd conclude their life before their time, in times where life threw a curve ball, with the premise things got better afterwards.
Being a parent isn't a responsibility that's taken for granted or lightly, as unexpected events often occur as the child grows up. Our job is to do the best we're able to do, praying that as each child grows up, the rules, boundaries, and limitations set forth at a young age, take root bearing fruit of the life lessons taught through the years. We as adults ought to be responsible and mature enough to realize, when taking care of our kids becomes too much to deal with, that you're able to mature decisions helping you deal with the matter at hand.
