Report: Bobbi Kristina Brown Had Used Drugs Before Being Found in Her Bathtub
Bobbi Kristina Brown was allegedly under the influence of drugs on the morning she was found facedown and unresponsive in a bathtub, People reports.
Sources close to the 21-year-old claim Brown had been regularly using heroin, cocaine and Xanax in the past few months, as well as drinking excessively. No official toxicology report has been released.
Another source says Brown has been "in and out" of rehab during the last three years since her mother, Whitney Houston, died. On Feb. 11, 2012, Houston was found dead in a hotel bathtub. Though the singer had died from drowning, an autopsy confirmed that she had drugs in her system at the time.
It has now been 22 days since Brown was discovered and hospitalized. She has been on life support ever since and recently underwent a tracheotomy to prevent an infection from her breathing tube.
The real tragedy is that Whitney Houston's only daughter may end up dying because of drugs. It's sad to see drugs, once again, possibly claim another life. We can only imagine the pressure of being the only child of two famous singers, both of whom were avid drug & alcohol consumers.
Whitney Houston literally threw her singing career away when she hooked up with Bobby Brown. Whitney vainly tried making a comeback, however, her once golden voice was forever gone.
Hopefully there's a silver lining to this very sad story.
