American Muslims TV Show

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I've been dealing with some serious health issues lately that needed to be taken care of. It's one of the specific reasons there haven't been regular updates. The following update deals with the TLC tv show American Muslim and how various major sponsors, such as Lowe's, have walked away from the series.

"Every person will find for himself or herself the right way towards God, and what may be the right way for one may be completely wrong for another. Therefore you must discover your own self, and develop your own inner self, if you want to find the way to God. You must not follow or imitate anyone else".

I'm not here to "push" any specific religion or faith upon anyone as that's not my mission in life. The above quote says it all and that's the way it should always be in worshipping God.

Since the unfortunate incident of September 11, 2001, Muslims and those who have been apart of the Muslim faith, have been unduly scrutinized in ways no other group ever has. The extremist group(s) associated with this faith and others, in the end give the specific faiths a bad name.

The TV show American Muslim has attempted to show what how life is for any family of the Muslim faith or who moved to the U.S.A to start a new life. Remaining true to one's faith is quite a challenge in today's day and age because of the social pressures and often the aspects how important it is for generations to worship God on a daily basis.

The United States is such a mixture of different ethnicities and religions, it's sometimes amazing that the Muslim faith still remains in the limelight because of those group of people who wish to give it a bad name for their own personal gain. Whether Muslim families who reside in America will ever leave the spot light remains to be seen.

The Muslim faith as any other faith is just a way of worshipping God and following the principals of the faith to the letter. I'm quite familiar with the Muslim faith because of my dutch/ indonesian ethnicity, the fact I've followed the essence of the Muslim faith all of my life. I know when I've traveled around the nation and specifically because of my name, I've got numerous inspections at all airports just because. I've not complained about it as the inspectors are just performing their assigned tasks, it still appears Muslim's are still being singled out.

Reality tv shows can't honestly depict how the daily lives are for american muslim families, as ratings are more important to executives then honest depictions. Not all Muslims should be judged because a group of knuckleheads decide to bring dishonor to the Muslim or any other faith.
