Private Lives of Celebrities

In today's climate where information is available 24/7, either on the internet, tabloid news program, local or cable news program, everyone seems more then ever, fascinated with the private lives of celebrities. Why should we the private citizen be concerned about what a celebrity or famous athlete do in their down time? Celebrities have a tough enough time keeping their private lives quiet, protecting their loved ones from possible harm from over zealous fans. Although we'd love living the lifestyle of the rich & famous, isn't it more important keeping our own lives in order. In recent months various celebrities have had their run ins with the law, or made complete fools of themselves by their own actions. As the celebs have the means of taking care of their problems, we the private citizen aren't always as fortunate.

I've known a hollywood family for several years, the Arquettes David, Patricia and Rosanna. They've achieved sustainable success in Hollywood through the years, that has served them well. Just as any other family, they've had their peaks & valleys, although in comparison to private citizens when either sibling experiences something unexpected, it becomes news right away. We as private citizens have no need to worry over such things, especially reading about our problems on some newspaper or magazine cover. Trying imagining what measures a family such as the Arquettes, have to follow through with as far as protecting their loved ones and keeping their private lives out of the public spotlight. It becomes tougher going to the grocery store or any other public place as your star status in Hollywood rises, as your own safety becomes priority.

Athletes and Musicians endure the same pitfalls as celebrities, as every move made make makes headlines across the world. Fortunately they've been famous athletes, musicians, celebrities who've avoided making headlines for unflattering occasions. Famous celebrities such as Lou Gehrig, Charles Atlas, Ronnie Milsap, and George Strait are those who've avoided major scandals during their careers. Perhaps we ought to pay closer attention to our own lives, and not worry about the private lives of famous people. Our lives aren't changed by what happens in the lives of the rich & famous, perhaps as we make efforts paying closer attention to our own lives, we're able to make our neighborhoods classier areas to visit.

I couldn't imagine having to make sure everyday my family felt safe from over zealous fans or possible stalkers. The extra security measures taken for each time a visit to a grocery store or any other public place was planned, always carries a feeling of invasion of privacy after awhile. As some aspects of the rich & famous lifestyle looks glamorous, I'm glad that's something I don't have to deal with on a daily basis.
